What did you study?I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degree from Florida Atlantic University. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Linguistics, and a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
Name the moment that inspired you to take your career path.I was inspired to pursue speech-language pathology after I took an “Intro to SLP” course as part of my linguistics studies. I immediately knew that this field was the perfect way to encompass my passion for helping others with my interests of child psychology, human behavior, and language development.
What do you specialize in? Childhood apraxia of speech, articulation and phonological disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, social-pragmatic communication, oral motor feeding deficits, and group-based intervention.

Favorite therapeutic swing? The Spider Swing and Platform Swing are both great for peer interaction.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment? Finding a profession that makes me this happy is my greatest accomplishment. Love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life.
Books or Movies?Definitely both.
Where would you go on your dream vacation? It’s so hard to choose just one place. Australia/New Zealand, Greece, Italy, Morroco, Thailand, Switzerland… the list is neverending.
What is your favorite children’s book? Any book by Shel Silverstein (“The Giving Tree”) or Laura Numeroff (“If You Give a Mouse a Cookie”).
What skill are you most proud of? I have always loved learning languages. I am fluent in Polish and know quite a bit of German and Spanish.
Winter or Summer?Nothing beats those beautiful Chicago summer days spent by the lake.
