Name the moment that inspired you to take your career path.Since a very young age, I knew that I wanted to work in helping people and have always been fascinated by blood and the Sciences. I initially thought I would become a pediatrician, but I did not want to “make little kids cry” by giving them vaccines, so I had to find an alternative option. I began to volunteer at the age of 17 at Illinois Masonic’s Pediatric Developmental Center and fell in love with all of the kids and families we worked with. I was still afforded with the opportunity to provide some level of medical support and help to the families and children without making them cry.
