What did you study?Communication Sciences and Disorders at Northwestern University and Speech-Language Pathology at Rush University
Name the moment that inspired you to take your career path.I started college as a biomedical engineering major. I took a course called Engineering Design and Communication in which I was tasked with designing a solar thermal hot tub for a man with cerebral palsy. The man used a high-tech communication device with eye gaze, and I remember being fascinated by it. I realized throughout the course of the project that I was much better suited for the communication part than the design part.
What do you specialize in? Pediatrics in general-no notable areas of specialization yet! If I had to pick areas I enjoy learning about, they would be emergent literacy and early language development

Where would you go on your dream vacation?Spain
What is your favorite children’s book? I like wordless picture books because everyone can tell their own story. Some of my favorites are Rainstorm, Chalk, and Where’s Walrus.
What skill are you most proud of? Teaching myself new skills. I have been able to hem pants, take apart my laptop, and make minor plumbing repairs with the help of YouTube.
